My name is Whitney, & I take photos.
I am a wife, dog mom, human mom to Legend & car enthusiast. I have a passion for Subarus + Volkswagens. I have an obsession with Star Wars, Stranger Things + The Office! I love the color teal & sunflowers. In my spare time you can find me outdoors with baby Legend!
I am a film inspired lifestyle photographer. My work is focused on candid shots rather than telling you to "sit up and smile!" Less posing, more real moments, because that is what makes a raw, true photograph. One day, the people we love the most will be gone. We will have memories, and photographs keep those memories alive + more vivid in our heads. When I am working with anyone, I try to bring out things you may not realize in photographs, like the little smirk you give your husband, or the way your child looks at you. Something that will you give you the happiest of all feelings when you look back at them.
My work
This is the second time we’ve been to Oak Island and the minute we reserved our house, we contacted Whitney to set up our session! Absolute dream to work with!! We had six adults (3 families) and 5 kids (all 3 and under) and Whitney did an amazing job of getting great shots and being so patient and creative!! Love, love her!! Highly recommend!!

I am currently only photographing small weddings and elopements that are 4 hours or under.
*50% of your session is due upon booking with a signed contract. Payment plans can be worked out, just reach out! Travel fees apply to locations outside of Wilmington NC
additional services
35 millimeter film $99
In addition to digital, I will shoot a roll of 35 mm film (24 exposures) during your session. Film will be developed, scanned and sent to you via online gallery. Additional processing time is required. Each additional roll of film - $50
