Vintage Finds
Saturday, we took a ride up to Bold Rock Cidery for their release of the Blood Orange Cider! It was about an hour and a half drive from Richmond to Nellysford, VA. The drive was amazing with all of the mountain scenery and curvy roads. There just so happened to be a classic car show going on as well. Which excited me because I also love cars! Cars + Cider, perfect. Instantly, this teal Volkswagen Beetle caught my eye. I own a 1974 Super Beetle that I am slowly fixing up, so I love seeing ones ingot condition! I bought my camera with me, but left it in the car. After circling around the VW for a little, I had to go get my camera and capture its beauty!
My car was a short walk away, & by the time I got it out and started walking back, the car was leaving! My husband stopped him &n asked if I could photograph super quick before he left. HE was super cool about it, and told us how he got it, what he's done, etc. It was a beautiful teal color (original paint too) with a roof rack & vintage Pepsi cooler on top. We asked him a lot of questions since we are doing some work to mine too, and he was super helpful!
